The Insight
That one idea is what Track-Subs is built on. Your Gmail inbox already contains proof of every recurring charge — Netflix confirmations, Spotify receipts, Adobe invoices, cloud hosting bills. All we needed was a smart enough engine to find and parse them.
How We Built It
Track-Subs uses a two-layer detection engine. Layer 1 is deterministic: pattern matching against a catalog of 60+ known subscription providers. It runs at temperature 0 — same result, every scan, for every user. No randomness.
Layer 2 handles the unknown. When an email doesn't match any known provider, it goes to our AI classification pipeline (with multi-provider rotation for reliability). The AI extracts the service name, price, billing cycle, and currency from the raw email content.
The result: a complete picture of your subscriptions in under 30 seconds, from a single Gmail connection.
